aND NOW!?!?!

I'm getting the hang of it...motherhood, that is. It is significant that you remember that being a mother is about sacrifice and making your own way...by the grace of God. Joaquin is now 14 months old...1 year and 2 months old...almost 3. He is something. He not only walks, but runs now. Always, in a hurry to be around what's going on with his Nana, aunt, and cousins...and Sophie and Stripey Bells (the cats). Joaquin doesn't want all too much of his mama right now, unless we're out and about, and he is super PRO-MAMA! That's okay...the stages children go through vary so often. Joaquin is going back through the stranger anxiety phase again. It takes him a bit of time to warm up to people. He now says: Mama, Dada, Nana, Bybah (cousin, Bryah), Bop (cousin, Simone), no, night, uh-oh, dot-dog (hotdog), cat, kit-cat, num-num, ball, bye....I'm sure I'm leaving some out! It's great. He is owning his feelings, pouts and smiles. It's crazy....such a fun time right now.
